Hi Paul,

We’re a couple of Kiwi Rugby guys who’ve set up a website listing rental accommodation in NZ for the Rugby World Cup next year. http://www.StayInNZ.com...

Our site is based around helping overseas visitors experience a bit of Kiwi hospitality though staying with a Kiwi family, or renting a Kiwi home for the World Cup.

The prices for private home are usually much less than a hotel. Many homes are very close to the stadiums.

We’re dropping you a line to let your club members know where to go, should they be looking for Rugby World Cup accommodation next year in New Zealand.

Your members would be negotiating with the house owners directly so there is no middle man clipping the ticket.

If you would like any info or have any questions/ideas feel free to drop us a line.

Thanks for your time,

Cheers, Hugh & Hamish
Dear Parents,

Just to let you know that this will be the final formal session of the season.
Next week we will be organising a fun session of games and activities which you are all invited to. The basic plan will be as follows:
11AM - Meet to watch U16s final match
12/12.30 til 2.30 Games and Fun. (for parents as well)
There will be a BBQ going with free hot dogs etc.
Please note the games could get Wet so you may want a change of clothes!

Also, we are planning a trip to Twickenham to watch England play against the Barbarians on Sunday 30th May 2010. This is a 5pm kick off so we will leave at about lunchtime and be back about 10pm.

Ticket prices are £20 per adult and £10 for Children(15 and younger). Julia, by doing the teas this season, has raised enough to cover the coach hire but we will need to confirm numbers ASAP. If you would like to attend please let us know with a cheque to cover the cost of your required tickets.

Seaford I vs Brighton II
Saturday 27th March 2010

Result: Seaford 15 vs Brighton 24

Team: J.Cowen, S.Dann, P.Innis, L.Deves-McQueen, P.Joy, J.Morgan (D.Sayce), P.Culshaw, D.Newby, D.Kristiansen, B.Cox, L.Hunter, P.Burns, M.Tait, A.Garner, M.Shearing.

Seaford travelled to face Brighton who currently sit fifth in the league. Last time the teams met, Brighton left with a narrow victory of seven points and unfortunately for Seaford, again Brighton were able to reach another win with a comeback in the last quarter of the game after a very close and well matched game.

Brighton were first to score five points after catching Seaford off guard from the go, and scoring a quick try on the wing. This went unconverted but gave the home team a boost in confidence. Seaford were shaken into action and promptly drove the play deep back into Brighton's territory. Seaford battled in Brighton's 22 for a good fifteen minutes but were unable to break down their opponents defences.

Brighton scored the second try after twenty minutes, again unconverted, to put them ten points up to nil.

Seaford finally scored their deserved points after twenty five minutes. Matt Shearing, who was having a fantastic running game, had broken through the line and taken Seaford's play into Brighton's half. Seaford gained good ground through phased play until within reaching distance of the try line. After two unsuccessful scrums, Seaford dug in their heels and managed to power the five yard scrum to the line allowing Danny Newby to scoop up the ball and bring it down over the line. The try went unconverted but lessened the home teams lead to five points.

Brighton were able to get some more strength in their lead with a successfully kicked penalty. This was short lived however, when Seaford scored their second try, and conversion, to bring them one point behind Brighton at 13 points to 12. Seaford had opted for a short line out on the 22 yard line. As Joy collected the ball in the air, he dropped it down to his team who shipped it along the line to Mark Tait out near the open wing. Brighton managed to get two defenders over in time but could not stop Tait in his full stride, from diving over the line for another five points for his team. The conversion was placed straight through the middle of the posts, despite the awkward angle, by Ben Cox.

Seaford started the second half with a well kicked penalty to put them in the lead for the first time in the game. Seaford managed to keep this lead for the majority of the second half. The second half possession favoured Brighton, a real test on Seaford's defence which held up until the final fifteen minutes.

Brighton were awarded three penalties in a row, all within kicking distance, two of which were achieved. This put the home team up by four points, 19 to 15. Seaford battled in vain to try and keep possession to gain those much needed points but the game was not in their favour and the final points, with an unconverted try, went to Brighton to seal their victory.

Despite the loss, Seaford can leave with their heads held high after a great performance. Next week, Seaford welcome the Enfields Ignation Touring Side to the Salts for a friendly.
