How to Register with Seaford RFC Forums
This is a basic guide to registering as a member to use these forums.
In order to do so, you will need a working email address.
Your email address is used to validate genuine users of the forums and to send you reminders of your email address should you forget it, as well as occasional newletters, so please ensure that you use a genuine email address.
Once you have this, in the top right hand corner of the page is a couple of links that say Hello There, Guest! (Login — Register).
Click on the "register" link.
You will then come to a page with the rules of the forums that you must agree to before you can register. It is a good idea to read them through, so you are aware of what you are agreeing to.
Once you have done this, you will come to a page with a number of boxes to fill in.
The top left hand boxes are essential.
Username: Is the name you will use to log in and post under, whilst on the forums. Most people use a nickname of some kind.
Password: Make up a password that you can easily remember. Try to name it something that cannot be easily guessed by other people, but also one which isnt so hard to remember that you will forget it yourself.
Confirm Password: This is to be sure you have spelt it correctly.
Email: This needs to be a working email. Confirm this as well.
On the bottom left hand side is a box to copy the letters/numbers you see in the colourful box to the right. The letters are not case sensitive so you dont have to worry about capital letters, but you do need to get them in the right order. This is a security function to stop annoying machines bombarding out forums.
The remaining boxes are for you to customise the way the forums look to you. You do not have to change anything or add anything to those boxes should you wish. You can come back to your control panel at any time and change these later.
Click the "register" button at the bottom of the page when you are ready and you will be able to log in and post as a member.
Any problems, please email kicking.it@gmail.com
